The Hispanic Health Coalition (HHC) is a non-profit organization established in 1996. Operating under a volunteer board, HHC carries out its mission by supporting those core goals and activities determined to be essential to the success and growth of the organization.
The Hispanic Health Coalition has been a reliable resource, information source and voice for Houston’s Hispanics and those who serve them. Consisting of leaders from healthcare, education, social service, faith-based, business, community and government organizations with experience working with the Hispanic population, the HHC is committed to continuing to improve the health of our community.
August 2011 CDC/HHS National Influenza Vaccination Partnership
HHC was represented among 30 community health advocates from across the U.S. that gathered in Houston, TX to launch a national long-term partnership with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS). Article

2009 ¡Vive tu vida! Get Up Get Moving –November 7, 2009
The Hispanic Health Coalition, Inc. is planning the 3nd Annual ¡Vive tu vida! Get Up! Get Moving in Houston on Saturday, November 7, 2009, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Mason Park, located in the East End. The event’s goal is to raise awareness of the many fun ways to exercise and prevent health conditions for people of all ages. We expect over 2,500 community members at this free event. Activities will include walking, running, golf, stretching, yoga/pilates, baseball, football, soccer, basketball, tennis, rock climbing, biking/bike safety, martial arts, aerobics, salsa dancing, Zumba, cricket, cheerleading, and much more. Boxed lunches and drawings for prizes will also be offered.
